COMMITTEES FOR ACADEMIC GOVERNANCE AND STUDENT WELFARE

The Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) of the institution is established to promote the overall development, empowerment, and well-being of women students and staff. The cell works towards creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that encourages gender equality and respect.

The Women Empowerment Cell aims to sensitize students and staff on women’s rights, health, safety, and social responsibilities, while fostering confidence, leadership, and self-reliance among women.

The Anti-Ragging Committee of the institution is constituted in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and AICTE to ensure a ragging-free, safe, and healthy campus environment.

The committee is committed to preventing ragging in all its forms and takes strict action against any student found involved in ragging activities. The institution follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging.

The Anti-Ragging Cell is constituted as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and AICTE to ensure a ragging-free campus. The cell is committed to creating a safe, disciplined, and friendly academic environment for all students, especially first-year students.

The Anti-Ragging Cell works proactively to prevent ragging in any form and takes strict action against any incident of ragging, in accordance with institutional rules and government regulations.

The Anti-Ragging Squad is a monitoring body formed to support the Anti-Ragging Cell. It functions as a vigilant group that maintains continuous surveillance across the campus, hostels, and common areas to prevent any ragging-related activities.

The squad plays a crucial role in immediate intervention and reporting of any suspicious or ragging-related behavior.

The Student Grievance Redressal Committee is established to address and resolve grievances of students in a fair, transparent, and time-bound manner. The committee ensures that student concerns related to academic, administrative, and personal issues are handled with confidentiality and impartiality.

The committee aims to promote a harmonious relationship between students, faculty, and administration.

The Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) is constituted to address and resolve grievances of students in a fair, transparent, and time-bound manner. The committee ensures that students’ concerns related to academic, administrative, and personal issues are heard and resolved without any discrimination.

The committee aims to maintain a healthy and positive academic environment by providing a platform for students to express their grievances freely and confidently.

The SC / ST Committee of the institution is constituted to safeguard the interests of students and staff belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). The committee ensures that no discrimination takes place on the basis of caste and that a supportive, inclusive, and respectful academic environment is maintained.

The committee works in accordance with the guidelines of the Government of India and statutory bodies to promote social justice, equality, and empowerment of SC/ST students.

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) is established as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty.

The council encourages creative thinking, problem-solving, and startup culture within the institution..

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is constituted by the institution in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The committee is responsible for providing a safe, secure, and dignified environment for women students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff within the campus.

The ICC addresses complaints related to sexual harassment with confidentiality, fairness, and sensitivity, ensuring timely redressal while maintaining the dignity of all individuals involved.
